I decided to not keep these together as a set, but to make them two separate projects. First up, the box, you may have seen this earlier this month on the Green Tara Blog, so forgive me if it's a repeat, I had not shared this here yet!
First, I covered the sides of the box with strips of burlap. Then I used papers from 7 Dots Studio's Domestic Goddess collection (love!) to layer on the top and sides. I piled on a few tags, Green Tara flowers, wire, pearls, etc, for lots of dimension and texture. The gorgeous vintage image is one of the Collage Fashionista tags from the collection.
Next up, the mini album. Keep in mind, this is a work in progress, and I am creating it for a teenage girl (my younger sister, 15). This presented as a much bigger challenge than I had anticipated, for a couple of reasons. Number one, this is my very first attempt at a mini, and well, yeah..not really sure how to handle it, lol! Number two, I am not used to creating with someone else's tastes in mind, it is intimidating! So, it is what it is. I left it blank for her to add her own photos.
Here are a few of the pages:
I used papers and embellishments from Glitz Cashmere Dame collection, so much fun and perfect
for a teenage girl, I think..that beautiful black/white ribbon is Green Tara.
In case you haven't heard,

Thanks for stopping by today!! Have a great day!!

These are gorgeous projects, Kelly & especially the mini - well done you - 1st mini! And I can imagine how hard it is doing it to the taste of someone else [not mentioning TEEN or GIRL here!!!!!] I'm sure she'll love it - most of all 'cos you've gone to this effort for her...even if she doesn't show it!!! [did I NOT mention 'teen' & 'girl'!!!] Take care:):):)
