Hi scrappy friends! I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with some of the new Kaisercraft collections available in the
Flying Unicorn Store. The moment I laid eyes on Base Coat and 75 Cents, it was love...the colors, patterns, textures, absolutely stunning!!
I had a little time to combine the two collections and play along with Saturday Sketch #2 for February over on the
Kaisercraft Blog.
The background paper is "
Bark" from Base Coat. The birchbark background was perfect for the birch trees in the background of my photo. I used
"Farthing" and
"Sixpence" from the beautiful
75 Cents collection. I thought the blue/greens in the paper complimented my photos, as well. I also used some of the collectables and other bits cut from some of the other papers.
The next page was created from the 75 Cents collection as well, and I kept it pretty simple. I loved the warm colors and added just a bit of modeling paste and lots of misting to make it all texturey and pretty.
Below, I used one of the gorgeous new
Flying Unicorn Adornments, the charming and beautiful metal butterfly.

I think those collections were made just for you. :) Fabulous. Base coat is sold out here but can't wait to get my hands on it.
