Skissedilla #198 (Selected Scrapper - February)

Good afternoon!!
I hope everyone has had a great weekend..or if you are across the globe, a happy Monday! I have spent the weekend attempting to create video tutorials...and well, it's been a trying experience, to say the least. I made a fun project yesterday, filmed the whole thing, only to upload it and realize the whole thing was out of focus! Yuck!
So, I made another, but I am not too happy with that one, although it is better than the first. Trial and error, I guess, but I do hope to soon be able to share video tutorials here! I went on a canvas kick this weekend and made 3 canvases! I will share soon.
Today I have for you the page I created using Sketch #198 over at Skissedilla, where I am Selected Scrapper this month, fun fun!!

This layout was created using a whole lot of miscellaneous scraps that were on my desk, including bits of cork from a past Flying Unicorn kit, chipboard bits, flowers, Green Tara leaves, canvas pieces, cheesecloth, tags, diecuts, etc! I really just wanted this to be an artsy fun page to go along with the photos of Lilah finger painting.

I added in a paintbrush that Lilah broke in half, that I had saved. I was inspired to save it after seeing paintbrushes used on this layout by the super talented Ayeeda. I just thought the paintbrushes on her page were such a unique and creative detail. In this case, I thought it just worked well with the theme of my layout so I could not resist!
