"Sweet Days" Creations - Part 1 - Flying Unicorn

**Today is the last day to enter my giveaway!! Hurry and click the link in the sidebar!**

Here are a couple of layouts from me created with the amazing "Sweet Days" kit from Flying Unicorn!! I really really enjoyed this kit!! As always, very versatile and everything fits together so well!

"For The Love Of Snow"

I started with this beautiful piece of paper, from the Webster's Pages Park Drive collection, for my background. I wanted to create a page in a winter theme without the typical winter colors. I white washed a bit with gesso, and did some very light misting/masking with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Rum Punch.I layered a few more bits of scraps of the WP papers, and lots of the Kaisercraft Marigold stickers and die cuts. Lots of gorgeous flowers from the main kit and the add on were misted, inked, an painted to suit my page. The big snowflake is a Kaisercraft wood piece from my stash, which I also painted with gesso and added some pearls from one of the Viva Pearl Pens from the embellishment add on. Those things are addicting!

Up next:
"Treasured"

I got all inky and painty on this one, with the Maya Road mist, the wonderful Claudine Hellmuth Studio acrylics, and the Viva Pearl Pens. Lots of masking, misting, painting to achieve the abackground. I layered a whole pile of the die cuts, focusing on the frame shapes, and fussy cut some of the images from the Kaisercraft papers. I adore the colors in that Marigold collection, they just work so well with my kiddos' red hair :)

Thanks for stopping by today!!! Be back soon!!

Love both layouts especially how well you made the paper of the first one work for a winter theme and, of course, the colors on the second one with that beautiful red hair!
