Blue Fern Studios projects

Hi everyone!  I am glad you stopped in today! Today is my turn to post on the Blue Fern Studios blog, and I have 3 projects to share!

"You Have My Heart"
First up, this sweet page of one of my little cuties on Valentine's Day.

Above you can see one of the beautiful Brigitte Butterfiles, which i simply colored with chalk ink in white, pink, and black. I then added the detail with a Viva Pearl Pen in Salmon. I used lots of Green Tara flowers and leaves, and lace, too.

I loved using the Seasonal Wildflowers piece here, which I cut in half so as to be able to stick into the flower clusters on either side. I sprayed them with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Cork, then again used a Pearl Pen for detail.

"Lovebirds Canvas"

I created this colorful canvas to hang in my kitchen. The birds are those wooden Prima birds, which I painted with black gesso to cover the original design on them so they would work with my project better.

I embossed the Symphony Border with gold embossing powder, then cut it to pieces to and tucked into my vine to add a touch of elegance.

"Today Is Extraordinary"
Another page of my two girlies, so cute and happy playing together!

Here I have used the Ornate Medallions, and tucked two of them into my flower clusters. They were painted white then brushed gently with a brown chalk ink. I added a few gems to the top one, too.

Above you will see the beautiful and intricate Calligraphic Border, which was simply dabbed with gesso on a sponge.

How do you do it--come up with so many amazing projects? It takes me forever to get a card done plus my layouts never look right. Anyway, love all this!
